I must have been dreaming

Because there are differences as explained by clinical psychologist Jordan Peterson.

Watching that feels like a fair minded approach to the topic and how it can contribute to the conversation. The challenges in an Internet forum for this topic is that some will give these kinds of thoughts justice, some will butcher them into something well intentioned but appearing sexist, and some will say blatantly sexist things like “women can’t see angles like men can.”

A lot of men can't handle the notion that there are women out there who can beat them at pool. This is especially true for some men who have played pool all their life and hate the idea of some 21 year old Chinese girl kicking their butt.

Just had a minute the other day and was looking on here, thought I saw
something about why women don't win big tournaments against men.
Now I can't find it. I have never seen this discussed before on AZ and
it has always intrigued me. One other thing, have you guys ever wondered
how much difference using a certain brand of cue effects a pro player.
jack

I think we have had almost as many "why can't women play better pool" threads as "custom cues not worth it" "LD shafts are a gimmick" and "what is best tip" threads LOL

The only answer is "no-one knows". I think it's because they don't put in the time or practice like men do. And I have one that may be a bit unusual but from watching women play it may explain things a bit, for some of them, the boobs get in the way of a good stance. I see many of them stand sideways too much.

In my local room, it's 12-18 yr old Chinese girls, along with my son LOL

I started the thread, but after it turned a little ugly I asked the mod's to delete it. Some things you just can't have an intelligent conversation about

Well, I went to the trouble of finding and listing some of the past threads on men vs. women in pool, so members could read some of the previous comments, and now .............. poof, gone.

I agree with ChrisinNC's comment in post #6.

Well to be perfectly honest, in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter in a different perspective and without being condemning of one's view's and by trying to make it objectified, and by considering each and every one's valid opinion, I honestly believe that I completely forgot what I was going to say.

I love this post. You say a lot!!

Jordan Peterson says that if you want to speak the truth as you see it about any matter of substance, you have to be willing to potentially offend some people. I couldn't agree more. I'm not advocating offending someone. I'm advocating speaking the truth as one sees it.

Great post,

I saw something similar posted before on some yahoo comment section and stole it! The message is too good not to repost.
