I think a guy on the wave might be a little off.

Here is an open-ocean swell that's pretty impressive. Sadly no landing at a surf site was recorded.



In related news, my brother reported being in a storm in the North Pacific on a container ship that was rolling 45 degrees port and starboard with a period of 90 seconds.
