Dream Table for a dream game room?

Anybody here have an interest in an 1875 Nonpariel 9' Brunswick? Saw one today....apart. Beautiful inlays. Too $pendy for me, plus no room for any table in my home. Anyway, Jim, owner of the Cue Ball, Salem, Oregon just picked one up. A friend of his sold the home it was in.

Any high roller here interested? If so, you might give Jim Lebold a call...503-362-9740.

Those tables are almost always found in some rich persons home that can't make 3 balls in a row hanging in the pockets, and they get played on about once a decade.
Same thing with all the really amazing cues , they are in closets all over the world.

I seen it yesterday, very nice. I had Jim going for a few minutes, too funny.

I purchased a few things and as he's adding up the total, he looks me in the eye and says he has something for me to see.

I look back at him and said, it must be real nice, you have a little excitement in your eyes.

He starts walking towards to door and I said, it must be a real nice table or something, you have a little extra in your stride today Jim.

Then I said that nothing excites him this much, must be a nice Brunswick table.

Let me guess, late 1800's?

Who you been talking too he asks?

I read AZBilliards every morning, turns out that a good Friend of his posts here.
 
Our sport has been around longer than any others except maybe golf. And it will still be here when some of the others are long gone. :yes:

At least you know why I didn't post pics. Table is apart, semi hidden in a cluttered room. The inlay work amazed me. Craftsmanship that simply isn't around today. Just beautiful stuff.

Before posting, I asked Jim if it would be okay to do so...

It will take a special person to own this special table. One who enjoys the game but also appreciates the past.
