Just a guess but i'd bet its how the person registered. Really don't think its anything to worry about.

Jundel Mazon—-best player I’ve never heard of!
He was in the states a couple years ago. Has won the Guinness World 8 ball before. Left handed Filipino. Reminds me a bit of Warren Kiamco. Saw him play at the Texas Open.
And if he runs into a shot he can't reach left handed and has to play it right handed, is that a disadvantage?

I'd say he is 50-50 to get into the final 16, although he has never finished higher than 17th, if I read the charts right.

This might be a bad bet, but I just want the sheer satisfaction of a greenback to look at, as a result of his failure.
Not sure why he in particular gets my goat. It might be that I think he is the weakest world champion ever, outside of Daryl Peach.
Albin is the real deal. I'll bet you another 100 that he makes the top sixteen.
Nah, I'm good. $100.00 is about as much as I am willing to risk, in case he gets an easier draw.
Going in my favor though.. He does seem to have negative thoughts bouncing around in his head while he's playing. I find it amazing he can play as well as he can when he screws up his face and shakes his head at every slight mistake.
Look at his results the last few years. Sigel used to shake his head in consternation on almost every shot, and then he made the next ball anyway and went on to win the match. Lassiter was very much the same way.
One more thing, there is no way with this packed field that anyone is going to get an easy draw to the final sixteen. There will only be heavyweights left by then! No way anyone outside the top 100 Fargo rating will be left when there are only sixteen players left.

I always got the idea when I watched Sigel that he was just into the theatrics of the moment, and wanted to make things seem a little tough, so he could then overcome the difficulty, or give a short speech about his bad rolls to get a laugh, etc.
Albin actually seems to be genuinely mentally frustrated with the game, every time I've seen him play.
Mike Sigel didn't pout like a woman. Albin and Mika do. I'm with you Russ. It's not fun to watch.
I'm not keen on Albins attitude, but he just recently lost his father.
...he wasn't at his best last Euro tournament...but he won't stay like that.
I was cheering for Shane in that world nine ball final, but Albin played like he was destined.
...one hell of a player...not a one-off like Peach.
Sigel, along with his old road partner Hubbard, have been doing that carney forever.
...it gets a bit old when you see him too much.
Mika is the absolute worst. He seems genuinely convinced that the pool gods (and everybody else, for that matter) are out to get him. Whenever something doesn't go his way (and it's usually his own doing) he starts shaking his head, his hands, pouting... almost never giving credit where credit's due. Mika is the absolute worst.
