Damn what a match.

This will be tough action for Efren.

We will see if he can still bring it at Buffalo's.

Thorpe is a great player but on a level table I like Efren's end of it.

The Old Master vs The New Kid on the One Pocket block :clapping:

Efren still has some magic left in his One Hole bag of tricks :bow-down:

Youngblood ( white edition) is going to be seeing places he never knew existed on a pool table...
...but win or lose...his game will be enriched.

Yep .
I remember Shannon coming into the bathroom on a break, when he was playing Efren in the final of the big tournament they had down in Galveston.
Sweating bullets, super puffing on a cigarette lol.
He kept saying over and over to his buddy, "I don't know what do man".
"Nothing I do works".
He's was all kinds of wrecked.

A potential of 19 games per day though? That could be a grueling proposition for a man of efrens age.

A long day would be 6 to 7 hours Half of that in the chair. I don't think Efren will have a problem. He's not dead by the way, just a little older. Old people need to get their exercise too

Billy is going to play very aggressive, firing banks at his hole. If he is making them, he is going to be extremely tough to beat, just ask J Schmidt.

I thought He left the country for good. He said he was going back to the Philippines to never return . Guess he’s back. Should be a good match.

When did he say that? I know he's cutting back on travel but never heard of him making that statement. I guess ER's farewells just take a little longer to go into effect. ;)

Efren got invited to the 1 P tourney coming end of this month-
All expenses paid, if he would come and play,
Is what I read somewhere"

That is my favorite one pocket match of all time!

Shannon played incredible. That old man has cheat codes.

Thanks to those who are putting this on.

I like Billys end over such a long match but,
Efrens cue seems to be guided by the hand of God.

Watching recent vids of Efren on Youtube (including those of his "farewell tour"), I couldn't help but think that he's playing better than ever! And it seems he's even got a few more new tricks on his already substantial arsenal. All at a time when most players his age (and even younger) have all but retired from the game.

I am a big Efren fan, but to contend he is at his best now is just crazy talk.
