Thorpe is a great player but on a level table I like Efren's end of it.
Youngblood ( white edition) is going to be seeing places he never knew existed on a pool table...
...but win or lose...his game will be enriched.

A potential of 19 games per day though? That could be a grueling proposition for a man of efrens age.
Yep .
I remember Shannon coming into the bathroom on a break, when he was playing Efren in the final of the big tournament they had down in Galveston.
Sweating bullets, super puffing on a cigarette lol.
He kept saying over and over to his buddy, "I don't know what do man".
"Nothing I do works".
He's was all kinds of wrecked.
I thought He left the country for good. He said he was going back to the Philippines to never return . Guess he’s back. Should be a good match.
When did he say that? I know he's cutting back on travel but never heard of him making that statement. I guess ER's farewells just take a little longer to go into effect.I thought He left the country for good. He said he was going back to the Philippines to never return . Guess he’s back. Watching recent vids of Efren on Youtube (including those of his "farewell tour"), I couldn't help but think that he's playing better than ever! And it seems he's even got a few more new tricks on his already substantial arsenal. All at a time when most players his age (and even younger) have all but retired from the game.
