So who's at the top of your list for this era Jay, Efren or Jose?
And who are the other one or two players you think are the best you've seen play in your lifetime? Harold Worst?
Efren had the better all around game, but not by much. For money, Jose was also a killer at One Pocket or 14.1. Believe me, he could play those games.
9-Ball - Earl, Parica and Shane are my three best. Wu had just as big a game, but it only shows up in spurts. These three were/are consistently great. Sigel and Buddy would be my next two.
Ten Ball - Parica, Shane and Orcollo
One Pocket - Ronnie and Efren
14.1 - Mizerak, Lassiter and Sigel
Bank Pool - Eddie Taylor without question. Second was Johnny "Cannonball" Chapman. I put Brumbach behind these two.
All Around - Worst, Efren and Orcollo. Mizerak, Sigel and Varner are all close as well. Ed Kelly was the best of his era.
Greatest shot maker - Louie Roberts
Best money players - Parica, Buddy, Alex and Orcollo. Denny Searcy was as good or better than Buddy in the 1970's. Lassiter was the best of his era by far.
Most talented - Keith, he could do things that no one else before or since could do. Searcy is second here too. Also other worldly in his shot making.
Special mention - Harold Worst. He was in a class by himself in how he handled himself and his opponents. No one close there either.
