And hearing Efren speak so unashamedly about playing mney matches

even Mark Wilson speaking about hoping to make expenses winning money

This was a fun interview to watch,first time I ever saw Mark Wilson,i heard he played good but never saw him before,good interview
 
Thank you Mark. I feel blessed getting to watch Little Earl growing up in NC and hearing about Caesar when he showed up and finally getting to see the best ever.

Yes, I was under the impression that Efren or any other pool player would have no chance against top level snooker players- so if he was beating Ronnie it must have been before he became the force he is now.

On a different topic, I got the feeling that Mark Wilson doesn't have a very favorable opinion of Earl! :o

For sure still a teenager, but still a force and top 16. Efren also talks about them (Ronnie and Jimmy White) wanting to play 9-ball. Jimmy and Efren played 9-ball using snooker balls on a snooker table. Efren also won that .

Efren or Mark also shared that the great Steve Davis says without a doubt that if Efren had grown up playing snooker, that he would have been a World Champion.

But let’s not give the wrong impression here. Ronnie was, as a teenager, one of the top players in the world. He was only one of two players to run a century and get an award (a watch) at that tournament. Jimmy White was there, certainly at the top of his game, and he didnt get a watch. But Efren did. And Efren beat Jimmy playing 9-ball with snooker balls on a snooker table. Jimmy wanted to play 9-ball and not snooker.

All this while Efren was using his pool cue.

I wonder if Efren pondered competing in snooker considering there is a lot more money in it than pool
