Yeah
You have to adjust.
I'm near expert on every law passed for business, employees and employees in NY and Federal. Because if you aren't you won't get any help.
Anybody with questions, fire away.
I had to explain laws to human resources, county health department, a state representative and the county executive...they don't even have time to digest this stuff and it is changing/reinterpreted often.
It was amazing that you got yours in the first round. I don't know anybody here who did.
I filed on the first available day for PPP to help us offset the 7 months of expected zero income. I was informed by B of A they submitted and were approved last week in the 2nd round. Two of my friends with B of A who filed day one were approved at the same time. We are a corp account with Bank of America and I have a senior VP as a rep - didn't get us there any faster. B of A alone was so overwhelmed with applications, hundreds of thousands if not a million, they simply couldn't get to them, even on day 1 applications.
Mine is simple - we aren't laying anybody off.
I do think there should have been some other screening processes. Bundling the loans with the grants/forgiveness caused a money grab from many companies - it seems like everybody qualified for money, including a lot of large corporations that shouldn't have. There will be a ton of defaults on the repay for non-qualifying companies.
