David Vs Goliath Joshua Filler Vs Tony Chohan one pocket

A world champion vs... has Tony Chohan won anything big?
He’s only one of the best, most creative one pocket players in the history of the game. Some of the shots Tony comes up with are absolutely crazy. Most of the other top one pocket players are also among the best 9-ball / 10-ball players whereas Tony truly specializes in one pocket as his niche game, and it’s evident when you watch him play.

I know next to nothing about one pocket as it’s a game I don’t even play, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching day one of this match up. For all of Filler’s 9-ball fire power, it’s obvious he’s played his fair share of one pocket as well. Filler is undoubtedly learning more from Tony in this matchup than Tony is learning from him!

I wasn't necessarily referring to what Tony hasn't done (he's definitely done well) as much as I was referring to how solid Filler is and in reality, I don't think Tony holds a chance outside of 1P.

Agreed. In 1P Tony is definitely one of the best out there and I love watching him play, learn something every time.

I was surprised at how well Filler moved in that game. Previously I only saw him play 9/10 ball and he would always reach for the jump cue instead of kicking. I figured his kicking game was weak. I figured wrong.

Absolutely no one would argue that. That Filler is doing as well as he is against a seasoned top 5 one pocket player through the first day is quite a tribute to how strong an all-around player Filler is. Makes you wonder if he’s done anything at all in the first 20+ years of his life other than play pool!

Devils advocate says
If tony squeezed filler more with nothing to shoot at rather than teasing him with do or die shots
And trying to go shot for shot with joshua
Fillers shot making probably would have gone south and his patience too

filler....150 lbs? soaking wet = david
tony....250 lbs?(might be the under not the over) =goliath

If they were in a back alley somewhere that's a cut and dry comparison but they're not, they're on a pool table and things are a bit different.

Again, facetious :)
