Ornate Antique Billiard Cue

Recently acquired this old ornate antique billiard cue. 57” long, 1.450 at the mop wedge, 16.30mm at the tip end (not a typo it’s huge) and laser straight. Probably straight all this time because if the size. No signs of there ever being a ferrule on it. Beyond cool and a incredible amount of work went into this cue. Hopefully the link works. Gone!

Very strange cue. The veneers remind me of the Asian made vignaux. But not having a ferrule goes against that. What’s the joint collar is it plastic or ivory?

Well, you just made me educate myself on the information I could find on George Britner and it sure seems like a possibility. It seems as if he liked to build cues using polychromatic designs.
