That seems to be his go-to. Two rails around the break ball, key ball on the spot or thereabouts. Nothing wrong with that as long as the pattern leading up is solid. I'm not sold on the other key ball, though!

Looks like a different Earl right now. Settled in and playing at a better pace IMO.
CB has been cleaned about 4 times in the past 2 racks.
Earl really is hitting them good (pocketing). I think he would have played really well at Mosconi.
Even though a lot may be said about patterns, he IS getting a quite consistent break ball angle and type. It's really quite impressive. I'd love to do an overlay of all his breakballs, if I find the time.

Made break ball (in upper pocket), drew CB straight back into rack, and scratched in the corner off the side of the rack. Run ends at 238.
He was robbed!

Don't agree with his choice of break ball there. Should have used the 5 (on the rail). But a good try with what he had.
If he had a Jackpot, he’d have already beat the record. 
He's been playing 4:10 hrs and doesn't look tired at all.
I don't agree with how he played the key ball (7). All he had to do was leave the cue ball in the rack.
Damn near got that 250 someone called earlier, good enough in my book
