Eagle Eye Takes Aim at 14.1 High Runs

We get it already, we know. But why keep repeating it, over and over. Yes, thank you, we know you like to hang on the nuts of every pro player that can run some balls. We get it. Stop already. geez.
And yet, I said not one word about Jason, good or bad. So, sure, whatever. LOL

But, please, tell us more about the patterns from your vast experience of running 30 once ;) LMAO

I disagree. John Schmidt is or at least was, a world class ball pocketer. His short to medium game touch is oustanding as well. He has some other weaknesses that make him less of a threat in top level rotation competition, but I certainly don’t think pocketing razor thin cuts, off Angle combinations and stuff like that is of any major concern to him.
I'd venture a guess that he wouldn't agree with you. Guess I'm talking about the very top echelon of pocketers. SVB, Shaw, Filler, Orcullo, and Earl in his prime, just to name a few. John was never in this sort of company. And I love John's game and spirit so there's that.

Edit - guess I did say "world-class" instead of "top-tier". I think there's a difference there.

I don’t take orders from you. Anyway, leaving my own personal preferences out of pattern analysis is fairly simple, you just work backward from the breakshot. 1: Is the player consistently getting high yield breakshots that Are safe and predictable. 2: Is the k2k ball leading him to that breakshot in as failsafe of a manner as possible Etc etc. You can extend this Line of thinking back until at least the biggest cluster has been broken up. I‘d be open to debate you on this issue if you feel I’m wrong or unfair.
And nobody cares how you would run a rack of balls, and I mean nobody. But, yes, this is your chance to feel special and tell the world champions how to do it. So, don't let us stop you. I'm pretty sure Jason will fly you out to help him out, lol

He truly is.

True story I hadn’t seen him for 18 months I’d guess. Then at Mcup in Vegas about 3 or 4 years ago we saw each other. We have always been very friendly with each other when ever we cross paths.

So I’m in the food court with Mrs Fatboy & Mary Kensington (sorry Mary I can’t spell) having a slice of pizza. Up walks Shaw, all done for the day. He walks up to say hello.

“Hello” then I noticed we have the exact tattoos on opposite arms, this was before he did both sleeves. But the principal tattoos (not filler work) on his right arm and my left arm are the same. Billion to one that could have happened.

Sadly I don’t have his talent in pool, but think of the chances of that? Same sleeve’s???? There’s a billion ways to do a sleeve.

I’m still betting over 300 for 59¢ if anyone wants a piece or the whole thing please let me know!

Thx
Fatboy😀😀
I’d like to give you the action…….but the escrow guy wants $400 for his services. :(

Stop acting like a child.

Stop acting like a child.
But, I want to hear how rank amateurs run racks... no really. Come on, give us your take on it too. I promise, I will take notes and mention how special you are.

Its a better look than trying to talk down a pros game and thinking you "know" better than they do

At 58:00 he makes two balls off a typical side-of-rack break shot, the one he called and the opposite corner ball. I don't know if that's the one Freddy mentioned.

He came up short on his last shot, so had a severe back cut on the break ball. Cueball on the right side of the rack as we view it. He called the low-left corner ball into the low left pocket. He drove the cueball into the right side of the stack, 2nd or 3rd ball down, and the corner ball split the pocket.

He just tried the same shot again, and missed.

You don't need to be Phil Ivey to know going all in before the flop with 72 in the first hand of the WSOP is a bad play.

You don't need to be Tom Brady to know when a QB made a bad throw.

Why should pool be any different?

Knowledge and execution are both important. Just because someone (Jayson) is great at executing doesn't mean his knowledge is on the same level as his execution.

There are players who have better knowledge of 14.1 and patterns that I would bet against Jayson all day in this format.
