If you found a way to play that you believe works best then fine. My interest has always been in the "why" and in that subject you are not entitled to your own facts, unless you can back them up, of course.

ROTFLMAO! The "why" is your problem, not mine or the now 2,000+ pool players who are logged in to discuss it in an orderly and gentlemanly fashion that bought the book in the last year and are happily involved. It just keeps growing.
If I'm not entitled to my own facts and results, who is? They're mine and belong to me. I prove what needs to be proven on the pool table, that's how I back them up. I don't know the "why" or "how" a mega ton jet plane does what it does, nor give a rat's ass. If it gets me from point "A" to point "B" it's all that matters.
There's a new book out called "Center Pocket Music". Buy it or borrow it. ALL of the facts are in it. The "why", well that's up to you to figure out on your own with ALL of your own experiments ON THE TABLE WITH BALLS. You might get it to work, and you might not. I doubt you will. But even IF you did, after all these years you would NEVER admit it! NEVER!
And for those of us who do play pool with it, we don't care what you come up with or decide.

With this logic you just proved the jelly bean method to be 100% truth. If your logic can't separate your aiming system from obvious parody then you might be standing on very shaky ground. Maybe not, I've seen "natural" players who out shoot everyone in league and they don't even know about the concept of throw. They adjust for it naturally but if you asked them what throw was, they would say "no, you don't throw the ball, you hit it with your stick!"
Maybe there is no debate/discussion, if it works for the user, it works.
How many posts per week does that group average?
Not sure you understand what I mean by that. You can't make up your own reasons for why something works and then present them as factual when you don't really know.

My own reason is an extremely high percentage of balls go into the pockets selected. When they don't it's because of user error. Could be stroke or carelessness in the alignment.
I know why it works which is the same way every other aiming system works. They link up the CB with the OB to get them going in an accurate direction necessary to be pocketed into a specific pocket. There is far less visual static to play eye tricks with the player compared to other visual methods.

a pretty long time which is quite obsessive.

My thoughts lol. I’d rather learn from a multi state multiple time champion who is an expert on the subject then the basement pool playing self named pool playing experts who post on here without any credible credentials at all.
Oh and CTE stands very tall on its own if anyone would like to put in the time to totally learn it. If not, no big deal.

There's a 4 page glossary in the front of the book and an additional page of abbreviations. With this tool the book can be translated into english.

Did I say anything about CTE? No need to defend it from attack when I've not attacked it. I'll say it again for the kids in the back of the class. CTE is an aiming and pool playing system that can be used to great result, as with most other aiming systems. Just gotta put the time in and it will work as well as any other aiming system.
