Statement from The Legends of Pocket Billiards

I had no idea that you were so knowledgeable about how "60 Minutes" production decisions were made.

Now you know.

I've been paying attention to how the mainstream media covers pool for decades, so I'm pretty confident that they won't be doing a feature story on pool.

Call me shallow

I don’t give a rats ass what the pocket or table specs are.

When Mosconi made his run-it was the record

When Schmit said he did that was the record*

Shaw made his run that IS the record

When the next guy runs more that will be the record. If he uses a different table with different dimensions, so be it he was smarter than Shaw or plays better.

Nobody else got close to Mosconi, Schmit or Shaw. Don’t care about the box.

Shoot, and here I’ve only worked with “60 Minutes” twice.

And then there was all that time spent with “Good Morning America,” chatting with Katie Couric when she was a Pentagon correspondent, interviewing Pete Williams, and talking almost daily to all the major networks and newspapers.

But whadda I know.

So I look at it this way: “60 Minutes” is only (wait for it…) 60 minutes long. And actually, after you take out the commercials and promos (and that little clock ticking away) you’re probably down to less than 45 minutes. Sooooooo, if the DCC and Shaw just get a couple of minutes on a huge platform like that, it’s a win.

A big win.

BTW, not that you’d care but my eyes are great but the doc did have to take out a suture that had come loose.

Not goin’ there again.

seek and ye shall find

Only a shady person would respond like that, or, they're flat out lying. Your little childish antics isn't boding well for this entire situation.

Your entire existence in this thread has been nothing but deflective and/or condescending.

Once again, get your head out of your ass.

lol, ask me if I care what you and a couple of other malcontents think.

And the first word in a sentence is supposed to be capitalized. Are you so upset over this that you keep committing spelling errors? You're beginning to act like RKC :ROFLMAO:

Calm down, take a deep breath, and maybe you'll realize we're only responding in a like kind manner.

Ahhh....we are all well aware of your background by now. So you said all of that, to basically agree with my take. Got it.

It would be nice if a few women want to post scores too. I don't know of any official lady's record now so perhaps it is guaranteed one of them will be crowned the world record holder, a nice title for any lady!

Jeanette Lee ran 152. How do I know? Because she ran them in a match against me! Her previous best was 124, which she ran in a match against Mika Immomen. Both of these runs were nearly 20 years ago and both took place at the Amsterdam Billiard Club in New York City.
