usps

Ebayers don't stand in line and pay at the PO. That is for suckers. They over charge you at the counter.
I used to spend about $125,000/week at the PO. They treat everyone like shit. They don’t care. It’s the Govt, just like the IRS. Take a number and get the worst of it.

If you were not paying attention two years ago Trump kneecapped the Postal Service in an attempt to prevent mail in ballots. What was a decent service is now pretty much worthless. It's one of the main reasons I stopped selling stuff on EBay. The price went way up and the service way down.

brandon, brandon he's your man, if he can't fix it nobody can

lame to blame 45 for an ongoing cluster which brandon hasn't addressed in the over a yr since he began occupying the WH

"used to be" is the key. They have made many statements saying those old time frames are no longer valid. Did they give you an estimated delivery time? Much the issue is with the reduction in their regional distribution sites (or whatever they call them) and there is a much smaller infrastructure.
It was to be delivered Sat by 9:00

The USPS pre Dejoy was great and went to shit after he came on board. They have never recovered and the morale at the post office is at an all time low. Many of the long time employees left and most of the new employees don't really care about anything other than sick leave and vacation time. Post offices in my area used to always have two or three people at the counter all day. Now they are down to one most of the time. I've seen one person take a long break when there is only one other person working the counter and a long line of customers waiting for service. They just don't care anymore.

Unfortunately my FedEx driver delivers packages like they are newspapers. Any where on the driveway or front lawn is fine to him.

Our usps guy is great a few times I have met him halfway coming up my driveway carrying a FedEx package that was left by the road side. Once it was raining pretty good and the package was soaked, guess the FedEx guy didn't want to ruin his hair.

Really the best thing to do imo is ship usps next day. They guarantee the package to most US location in one day if they are late you get full refund. Longest I have seen a package take was 2.5 days and it cost me nothing. If I'm shipping large or heavy packages where the overnight is more than $125 I don't express it. Those always make it next day, but the $80-$50 range you get a refund about 30% of the time. And buyer gets his cue in 2 day tops

Actually I have shipped several thousand packages with USPS in the last 17 years with no real problems beyond a few extended delays. No lost packages. Waiting to hand over packages to get scanned in helps a lot with tracking. Prices are relatively sensible worldwide. But people are always crying about everything and anything here--no shit!

I had an expensive pair of shoes overnighted, said they'd arrive by 10:30 - they got there at 11 with an ice storm the night before/morning of.

I guess USPS just likes me more than all of you. 🤣

Tell us more about this

I have better luck with them then ups the last time I used ups took 11 days I called to make claim they said it was lost then it got delivered that day lol I’ll never use ups again

USPS will usually eventually arrive. The key words are usually and eventually- not definitely and timely. that is always the price of government service. For anything of real value, I have shifted my shipping choices to private carriers; just bc I have a bit more faith in their service- but not a lot more faith either!

USPS, I am done shipping with them, it will be Fedex from now on. I shipped cue Tuesday late afternoon Priority mail
which used to be 2–3-day delivery and it's still not there. I guess Priority don't mean anything anymore. It left Philly Sunday
which is 1 1/2-hour ride from me. I don't get it, they suck!
I shipped a shaft back to Seyberts priority mail from CT on Friday, they had it on Monday.

I know you have; I was just venting over the package taking so long.
