I'm at the bottom of my first piece of Pyro after 9 months. Ive noticed it's lost some of it's magic qualities--it leaves marks on the cue ball now and occasionally generates dust specs when chalking. I have a new piece of V10 and a newer peice of Pyro that still work like magic. As time goes on it will be interesting if there are other reports of limited longevity.
My Pyro is down to just above the paper and it’s exhibiting the same occasional soft dust specs/flakes as well.
Generally the Pyro was never as clean as the V10 has proven, but it was still the cleanest chalk I ever used by a considerable margin. Kamui Roku is also clean but nothing like Taom.
I’d say my Pyro is about a year old.
