Taom Chalk

Taom V10 is now available in blue.
If you are playing on grey or tan cloth you still have to use the Taom 2.0 grey. I'm guessing next V10 chalk colour will be grey..
I just got the Ko Brothers chalk in stock and it's similar to V10 but has a purple ish tinge. leaves no marks on cloths I have tested it on.

I bought the blue v10 and didn’t like it as much as the green. If anyone wants to grab some I have a box of 8 unused and 1 used for half a day

Hows"Ko" compare to Taom v10 ?

I find v10 doesnt have the traditional
"Master Chalk" grit that I prefer ;
So Im on the hunt for a alternative that still is easy to apply , last a few shots ,but has a similar grit to master.
It has a finer grit than Master, pretty much all modern chalks have that, it's what makes them less messy. I think Kø Brothers Chalk is slightly coarser than V10 and not as "creamy" as chalks like Kamui, Exceed or G2 Soft.

TP just made a pink version of their 7500, not sure why they didn't offer different hardness, shape or alternative grey color to their already fantastic TP7500 offering. Guess they are fishing for more female users. But I think that given the quality of their marketing, and growth as a brand (especially here in Asia), they could have really dug the claws in a little stronger. Still think they are a fantastic brand, and doing great things.

Ko Brothers products are all priced so high, and though I like the players, I am not a fan of the branding. Was curious about this chalk. Keen to hear your thoughts after extensive play.

When Team first came out, I bought, I tried, it seems like you were not even using it, one day I said this is nothing special. Listed on e-bay, sold, recovered almost all my money, as everyone had to have Toam.

Today I play One Pocket with Green Silver Cup, guy I played with is a FARGO 594, he never won game, if I had super Chalk would he have never sunk a ball?

Wonder how many Pro & top playing say we love, we use toam, get paid to use. Follow the money. Understand Alex Pagulayan has his own Toam formula only $25.00 a Cube? Any fish take the Super Chalk bait?

I THOUGHT it was overpriced as well, I have been using the same piece of chalk for 2 years now, that equates to LESS than a dollar a month, I have my own table and practice everyday and I am still using it. TOAM V10
Exactly . now I only chalk once in between racks but a piece of chalk lasts me about 18 months and other then when I’m on vacation I play every day.

Cowboy
I think most will agree it doesnt make you play better
But its cleaner
for some thats important
It stays on the tip longer
Not an issue if you chalk before every shot
But if you forget now and then
not as likely to mis cue because of it
It lasts alot longer than masters bringing its average cost per day down to levels even the cheap guys might tolerate
Just sayin

I've been using V10 ever since it came out. Every factual claim is true. I can't remember the last time I had to clean my table. For years I used to wipe down the cue ball every time I racked and broke. I have even stopped doing that. The adhesion aspect of V10 is outstanding not only on leather tips but break tips of various materials and especially the new Recoil polymer playing tips.

I only bought the chalk because I had to spend an extra $10 to get free shipping on an order that would have cost me $20, so I got the chalk expecting nothing but hype, I used that same piece last night, it's almost gone but it's been more than 2 years, probably the cheapest thing I've wasted money on playing pool!!!!!!!!!!

I was at the Int Open and saw it, and figured it was that older Pyro version, so passed. I would have probably bought a cube to try. I'm colorblind, and the normal color is very hard for me to see if it's completely coating the similar color tip.
