Buying Diamonds at tournament's

You get what you play on.

If you mostly bang on a valley...then you get one abd put Ridgeback rails on it to tighter them up a bit.

If you are on a budget and play big tables, get an old gold crown...1 or 2. They can be fixed up to play very well. Example below, $800 table, elbow grease and another grand to redo rails (properly) and get 4 5/8 pockets. Table played fantastic.

Well I am not sure what model it is, the Diamonds I dislike, the fact we had 28 perfectly good Gold Crowns that worked.

No reason to blow 100k on Diamonds. When what we had worked.

Besides our like Pool room is for recreation, No any World Class Events.

I was, am perfectly happy with good old Gold Crowns.

BTW it’s not lame to dislike something it is my opinion. Diamonds are pretty, big deal, who cares, do not see the novelty, or what all the hype is about,

Indirectly as we pay dues to run association.

So yes it cost members money.

I tend to spend money like I worked for it.

Not like I have money printing machine.

Many of our member blew gasket when they found out about stupid expenditure.

With an 8 month waiting list, Diamond don't have a problem selling ANY tables that don't get sold at an event. That's what you call , snooze you lose!

So you were still paying dues for tables paid off 30 years ago? Nothing like spending money on something already paid off, right😅

Due pay for maintaining bowling alley, 4 or 5 facilities,staff, pools, golf courses, wood shop, metal shop, library, etc, all sort of things.

So, in other words, the new pool tables were just a drop in the bucket when compared to all the rest of the expenses those dues pay for, ok, got it😉

I am not sure you get it why spend 100K on something you do not need?

When you have Great Well Maintained Gold Crowns?


Stupid, and if 100k is no big deal, why not send me $20,000 mad money?
