You get what you play on.Glenn,
I asked this question in another thread, but would value your expertise if you have a second. In your professional opinion, if 9 footers and 7 ft diamonds are not an option, Is there a better option out there for a serious league/ local tourney dead money player, with no grand illusions of ever getting much over a 600 FR, than a well set up Valley 93"? Thanks in advance.
If you mostly bang on a valley...then you get one abd put Ridgeback rails on it to tighter them up a bit.
If you are on a budget and play big tables, get an old gold crown...1 or 2. They can be fixed up to play very well. Example below, $800 table, elbow grease and another grand to redo rails (properly) and get 4 5/8 pockets. Table played fantastic.
