One pocket today

Last week I played a guy one pocket whose skill level at pool in general is about even with mine.
He beat my brains out.
So all week I gave it a little thought and decided to change my strategy a bit.
We played 4 hours and broke even today.
Now I've just got to tweak it a bit and come out a winner.
Measureman is relentless for $5 a game.LOL
It's not about the money I hate to lose even at fun pool.

Next time I am in the Mile High City, I would love to take some "lessons" :)

if your skill levels are the same and you know one pocket better there is no way he can beat your brains out.
it should be the opposite
something is wrong with your analysis of skill level,

No I meant his skill level at pool is even with mine,not one pocket knowledge.
His one pocket knowledge is good ,I just had to adjust my strategy.

No probably not,my opponent drives a $100,000 plus car.
He does not need my $20 or so dollars.
 
I wish I could get cheap games in the northeast. Few people play one pocket in my area, and the ones that do want to play for 100 and up. I'm not experienced enough to throw money away like that.

I play once a week on Saturdays and am no longer interested in making a "score".
It's just enjoying the game and betting a little to keep it interesting.
