That would be awesome, I contacted them before but never got a reply. That was a few yrs ago. I'll keep you posted on what I find out..
And thank you again for the help and knowledge..Hope you get an answer from them, just a side note I have seen a couple of Gambler cues with 4 aces.
If they don't answer let me know as I may ask a friend that has a direct contact with Bob Meucci.
Jim do you have a Mucci?![]()
Late 70's Meucci Originals MO-10 Rare, 4 QUEENS! Recent Professional service. | #287614688
Please note that this is a relist of the same cue I had on here last December. I ended the auction early due to too many If the butt plate didn't have a crack... and If I knew it was straight... cwww.worthpoint.com
Hard to see due to the small pic. The title does say four queens but the verbiage is suspect in the description, at least to me.
Yes. I have a old black band sneaky and a HOF 3.Jim do you have a Mucci?
No I meant do you have a Mucci?Yes. I have a old black band sneaky and a HOF 3.
I found two sneaky Pete cues in Glenwood springs a few years ago at a second hand store. A old Huebler and the Meucci, both were in great shape and both for $10.
The HOF 3 has stayed straight and is one of their designs that a really like.
My spell check keeps telling me itsNo I meant do you have a Mucci?
Sounds like me!I have at least 150 cues. I have parted with four over the last 40 years.
I feel your pain.
Thank you so much... it will definitely stay in the Family..The 1970's bullet type bumper was no longer available and the press in type bumper was selected as a replacement for future production of their custom cues.
These Meucci originals cues were produced from 1970 to 1984. Meucci discontinued that logo and started using a cursive logo 'Meucci', after 1984.
The idea of a personal hand-me-down cue is a very good incentive for someone else to hang onto it for a very long time.
With this in mind, there is no need to postulate a value for the cue.
I have two Meucci Originals that I bought in '88/'89 and can confirm the bumpers on my cues are the same. The more I look at you picture it leads me to believe it's from around 1980-1988 and may have been a special order.
If you have owned it since new, then it may have been a promo for dealers showcase or a special order that got canceled.
After consideration I do think the bumper on it is era correct.
Yeah I can't stand the new "low deflection" shafts like The Pro shaft Meucci is putting out on all new sticks. I believe in the low def concept but I was not able to make the transition, these newer shafts change everything. I play with a red dot and a no dot. Just love em'. The one he's asking about here is a no dot - great shaft, and that squares with the time of manufacture.Great pics...that has to be one of the nicest Meucci theme cues I've seen in some time. I play with a SE VI no dot shaft...perfect.tio
Because most of the cues they've made in the last 25yrs are junk. Other than inlays popping and warpage they're great. You can buy a Mezz for 5-600bux that is LIGHT YEARS better than any Meucci.Seems strange to me the admiration of the early cues and not the latest 2022 cues.
Is it nostalgia or what?
I totally get that this particular cue could be special, but beyond that???
My 3rd cue was a Muecci. Still have it and handed Bob my money in 1975?? Burlington, IA
Just curious.
