Sickest run out ever?

Well played.

For me, Melling's runout in the World Pool Series 8-ball probably tops the list.

... but don't overlook Kaci's runout in Rack 14 of the World 10-ball semis against Szewczyk this year, in which he jumped in the one, kicked in the two and long-banked the eight to tie things up at 7-7. It had to be seen to be believed.

What is sickest runout ever you have seen?
I vote selfisly myself doing this 15-ball runout today..
Your run is the sickest in my opinion. There were great shots and some that were missed badly. There were combos and caroms. A few bad rolls and a few fortunate rolls. Full table length masse and air bridge were both great.
I heard a few "ahh's" one "I yiyi" and one "oof".
I also heard you laughing at all the crazy things that happened in just one game. This tells me that you were having fun(your own words). If a player is enjoying the game he will almost always play better.

That was one hell of a great run. Thanks.

Very impressive. At first I thought you got lucky but it kept happening. So either you know what you are doing or the Gods of Pool have decided you are the chosen one.

Melling's full table masse is my favorite shot of the runout. My swerves either break too early or too late, but when I get it right I feel like the most badass player ever.

Yes. Thanks. First kiss was unlucky and that combo to side can be only done with full hit with extreme english to throw both balls. Had to just hope for best then. Also masse is super tough because interfering ball is so far away that curve happens before it. So curve need to be minimum. Very hard to do.

Great fun out! Really fun when you have somebody playing with you and that happens. As a teenager often with three of us the other two would want to play cut throat where you each have five balls and the object was to run the other people's balls off the table. With ten balls to shoot at there were some fun outs there too.

Have to admit that just minutes before opening this thread I watched a few snooker matches if they could be called that. Twelve foot championship tables but a young chinese fellow was making some seriously sick runs. Far more effort than most would make to get to the seven over and over and it made for some amazing shooting. One inning games. Ronnie O would break and then watch Pang run the score out of reach.

I knew a chinese invasion had hit snooker but I have to watch some matches. The ones I saw today were just run out contests. Eight people left in the tournament, which didn't include Ronnie. Out of the eight if I understood correctly five were from mainland china and this is a ranking event.

Sorry but that looked like a bang fest to me. No idea where the cue ball was going to land and crashing into balls all over the table. But you were obviously having fun and that's what pool should be. Mellings out is probably the most exciting runout I've ever seen.

Yep.

Greatest of all time.... so far.
The reason this is the best is that looking at the original layout, it doesn't look like anyone in the game's history could possibly run out. The timing shot that got things started is one extremely few would have even found, and even fewer would have attempted. Throw in the long masse and the multi rail bank through a ton of traffic and you've got a runout that may not be surpassed in difficulty for decades. The conceptualization during this run may be even more incredible than the super-human level of execution.

If you aim your masse shots like Coriolis taught (see below) the only thing you have to adjust is stroke speed so the CB will curve at the right moment.

I liked the shot on the two. Full length, off the rail, looking for a shape window that’s a ball and a half wide. The three ball combo was going to splash the table anyway, so it’s a freeway pileup, no matter what. Great shooting and fun to watch. The negative comments are obviously from the uninformed.

Yeah, you can't luck and slop your way though a 15 ball rack of rotation. There was a shot where the cue ball almost rolled safe and got bumped back out, so some luck was involved, but you have to be good to get that lucky.

shows how playing position is overrated. he ran out without position on the next shot on every ball but the last one.

prime example of fast cloths and polished balls making the table open wide on the break.

good shooting anyway.

I am okay with all comments. Negative or positive. I just enjoyed playing through rack and watching it later.. I thought this would be fun to share :).
I actually made nice out after that too but it is "normal" with really hard starting position but where i won´t get into really trouble.
I decided to upload it too(hidden)but it have some glitching.. dunno why.
There people can see I can and will play position when possible. That first rack just had some shots where i just needed to make em and trust to get lucky.
