We are a fully accredited university. Those selected for our program leave with a degree.

In the past if Academic screening consisted of open policy the student outcomes were not always good. The tiered system has developed into partnerships for working prospective students or wealthy students.

Other types of students lacked the structure to survive academically. What is the ratio of entering students to first year success at your place?

I am not really interested in hearing more about the many ways that your endeavors have in the past or are currently failing. I don’t have the time to enumerate all the things you are doing wrong...in short it's pretty much everything so going back to the beginning and considering perhaps a kiosk at the mall selling phone covers might be a good next step.

The Academy is attempting to pilot the standards and procedures to qualify pool players for academic visas. Currently there are no existing or operating programs with the mission statement to attract pool athletes, provide pre-college level training and ultimate workforce participation in the billiard industry. The Academy believes that US players can benefit from international players through exchange and visa programs.

The billiard industry is the fastest growing sport. In terms of growth rate measured by events and distributed prize funding and international representation at sporting events, no other sport can rival this statistic. Matchroom and Predator have disrupted the status quo. This creates new opportunities for interested parties and people to pursue their regular participation in the industry premier events..

The Billiards Industry Academy would be the umbrella corp for all activities such as the CIA and CPA. The BIA mission statement is to create the next generation of Billiard Entrepreneurs, Engineers, Innovators, Promoters, Influencers, Referees and League Operators.

The BIA is a response to the investment of Matchroom and Predator. Their investment in creating events with great payouts is a disruption. This carrot is being dangled and not enough US players are performing competitively at that level. The BIA will best serve the interests and educational needs of future pool players and promoters. A standard system of education for the pool community is clearly needed. Pool pros will be educated on social media usage, creating leagues, promoting pool rooms, setting up training camps, designing tournament policies, designing virtual courses and providing secondary level education from the context of a pool game.

The BIA is will serve as a pilot program for adoption by higher education institutions. The ultimate goal of the BIA is to create academic and industry partnerships for language, culture and engineering (statistics). These partnerships are critical for institutional longevity beyond the founding members.
