Southwest

Crap, one can get a Ferrari painted in any color you desire, stitched with any thread you desire, using any color leather you desire, with any options you want; in only 3 years wait time.....

I think I've heard there is no cost to get on the Southwest list. If that's the case, I wonder what the wait would be if everyone that put their name in had put a couple grand up.
I don’t remember exactly when I got on it. I know it was quite a while ago. In 2020 they were finishing up 2005 and I still had about 6 years to go. So a good 3 years yet depending on how much time they lost with covid.

Wondering if anyone has ordered a Southwest lately and would know about where they are at? What year did you get on the list?

wow. when you ordered in 2006 did you know it would be nearly 20 years to get your cue ?

I put my name on the list in 2017 with the understanding that it was going to be at least 13 years.

I know they are some fine cues, But a freaking 17 year backlog??? Hire some damn people. You can easily weed out crap employees and put very strict quality control on things.
I think part of the SW ethic is the low, loving attention to craftsmanship, output. Subscribers know the conditions. I don't think they (SW) feel any need to compromise their trade trying to catch up.

I'm not talking about cutting any quality what so ever. It's just a piss poor model. I'll place an order today. Hopefully with no down payment. Then maybe in 17-20 years I'll possibly get something

Yea you kinda know it will take 15 years or so. My name should come up about the time my grandson starts college. Figure it will make a nice graduation present
