The 30 shot clock really makes a difference. Kaci was ok to watch, for example, rather than slow as molasses. However, there is still a good amount of "lax" in their pace. I think a 25 second shot clock would be perfect. It would give all the players a sense of urgency, without completely rushing them.
 
I like the new best of 3 sets format for KO stage.

My only quibble - something is wrong with the KO stage draw cos it is super lopsided.
12 FR800 in top half and only 5 FR800 (no FR top 16) in bottom half for last 32.:LOL:

I thought 10 ball racks had to be with the 2 and 3 in each corner? They don’t seem to be doing that here
 
The top half of the last 32/16 bracket is filled with monsters compared to the bottom half. Talk about a bad draw!
 
Found it odd that Chang was blasting the rack in the last set and the balls were not moving. I don't like referees using a mechanical rack and players not being able to check the rack.
