covid left snooker in a bad place, since china was such an important part of the tour. not only the chinese events but also the chinese sponsors players had, which seem to have dried out. idk if dawson or ferguson can be blamed though. there are gaps in the tour that should have been filled by now. but these are rough times, it's understandable that new foreign promoters are hesitant.
