I met him when I was 15, and have an autographed picture with him (with my emo fringe and a Rise Against T-shirt
). He played an exhibition at a local venue. Thrashed everyone for fun (my dad included). I was always amazed by his loopy signature. Must get tiring writing that over and over at events!

Yes, my father was a good player before he had kids, and mother made him get a real job... He plays a good standard in my local area still. He's played a few players in Exhibition games when they visit. The late Paul Hunter (RIP), Steve Davis, Mark King and some others.

it seems his mental issues has returned in force. smacked his cue on the table, lost match, smashed cue against wall and threw the pieces in the men's room. forfeited tournament and also withdrew from the masters. he had that cue a long time and won world championships with that cue.
