Well it wasn't intended to be mean. Just to reflect the choice he made to duck rather than attack. The comments indicated surprise at the choice at that time. He is a World Champion 4 times.
My remark could have been off the mark. He did right the ship. However at the time he was looking distressed. Now the other Mark is in that boat.

Slowby has this other nickname for a reason.
Some fans support this.
I don't.
Deliberate slow play, opportunity to take open shots, but choosing to grind it out is poor sportsmanship.
Recently he has been why shot clocks have been discussed more and more.
I recall Ronnie losing to Selby several times, then one famous Semi Final in World Championship he decided to not get bogged down and play Selby's game... so, some snookers he went for luck vs. Tit for tat.
Broke the Selby code.
Ironically, Selby got his knickers in a twist after the match and said it was disrespectful... ironic and laughable.
It is also a huge turn off for audiences.
Imagine if every match was played the way Selby grinds them out.
Nobody would watch it, no sponsorship and it would be done.
So, glad it is not the norm.
I play Snooker, Pool, multiple codes.
I know when to play safety, when it is appropriate.
I love watching a great safety battle, when it is appropriate.
As much as I enjoy watching century breaks as well.
Balance and respect for the game.
Something, Selby has always lacked.
Hope Allen crushes him.
The only other player I dislike more is angry man.

Si Jiahui vs Luca Brecel is a match I have enjoyed a lot.
Nice flowing play, safety when needed.
Si is looking like he is well and truly in his happy place.
At 20.
Remarkable.
Luca can make a comeback, he was awesome vs Ronnie reeling off 7 frames.
Si is a real handful though.
For me, I would love to see either in the final.
Let's see how it pans out.

Just noticed a headline that said Higgins is contemplating retirement. I suspect bookmaker would give long odds on the record of 7 being eclipsed by Selby or anyone but one of the youngsters that isn't on the board yet.

Almost like US saying they speak American.
When they speak English, just a broken form with letters missing to make it easier.

C'mon now, the respectful thing to do is pick up the lingo. Plus it's kind of fun.
The upcoming match presents the chance for me to root for both players. I hope the match is a well fought battle.

I was disappointed when Ronnie lost because of the entertainment value. Not to worry. These two are Hella fun to watch.
