Max and I spoke and he liked my teaching site, it was a blog plus hundreds of articles--all of them my content as writer/editor/reporter. We did an interview (online, not in person). It wasn't a form questionnaire, I tailored my questions to his career. I should take him off that list (which list I stuck on an AZ thread, it's unpublished), and as I've interviewed other people but didn't put them on the list, but I was memorably flattered when Max said he'd been following my other articles and interviews and enjoyed them a lot. He already knew of my teaching and blog before I first approached him.

I have Tony Robles listed as working with me, more correct he was working for me. He was a paid demonstrator for the same site (like Samm Diep for Dr. Dave). He refused to be paid for videos before he took a look in-depth at my instruction. He made that extremely clear to the team (NY Times attorneys/About.com sports editors/video producers). So I will continue to point out that he, being one of the nicest pros in our sport, signed off on my instruction before taking shot one. And that he is a person of integrity who would not have shot videos for my Guide Site at About.com before looking INTENTLY at my offerings there.

HOWEVER, these two associations are going back 12 years? 15 years? And they and I are busy people who forget stuff, so ANYONE who sends a PM (I'm not posting contact information on a forum without permission) can receive RECENT student, pro and teacher references for my character, instruction and play.

Why list Tony at all? You really didn't have a working relationship with him. He doesn't know you( edit: He said he doesn't know who you are, so he's never even heard of you). That means he hasn't read anything you've written and it also means he doesn't know whatever relationship you might have with where his articles or videos are. It's pretty clear that you would like people to believe there was more of a relationship than there actually was. When you say you've worked with someone, no one is picturing some vague third-party association. At the very least, they figured you've spoken to each other and had some sort of collaboration.

I do not gamble. Not a bettor however betcha we aint gonna see nuthin. Talks the talk and talks the talk...and talks the talk. There is nothing to see. There are no instructional demo's/ samplers. There is no outlined course. Nothing but talk.

I quit after 1:00. What's next..how to properly remove a cue from the case. How to chalk. The last thing I would want to learn is how to break. It's as simple as the cat finding the litter pan. Where's the video on stroke mechanics?

Matt and I collaborated with Wilson on a big, really-big, actually huge, instruction series we were going to put out on AZ. This was before he left his role as moderator here. I'll pm you the messages he sent us about PJ. He was very clear that PJ was walking a very fine line, but we don't have his permission to post the actual messages. He was also super clear that Matt was the best instructor ever!

Oh yes, ZERO videos or instruction you can find, and you've "searched high and low". Then Mom (she's upstairs, you're still residing in the basement) shows you how to actually use Google, and you find my bestselling book and three-hour DVD, but instead of apologizing, you simply cannot comprehend what you've seen, and don't bother to think, so you win this month's award for:

Fran, you're wrong, and I feel the need to correct you because you are speaking ill of your friend, Tony.

Tony Robles is one of the nicest people in our sport, and one of the most respected. So I was thrilled that About.com agreed he should be the Pro Demonstrator for my pool, billiards and snooker guide site there. However, Tony refused to sign the contract for videos, delaying the agreement until he could take time to "thoroughly check out the teaching" on my site.

Answer carefully because Tony is your "friend":

Is Tony Robles, a man I respect for his skills, knowledge and kindness, a cheap hack who took a quick cash grab for our videos, or did he agree (with me and thousands of my faithful website readers) that my teaching is awesome?

I do tend to post on weekdays in the mornings, I have a--how shall I put it--a job, a life. But how I could let the weekend go by without sharing Tom Kennedy's post:

"Matt is an awesome guy and we will be doing a clinic in Jacksonville. Please sign up soon."

TK has 4,800 Facebook friends and is followed there by 1,677 people, so I'm afraid he needs to get paid for our clinic first, but after, you can have the residuals.

And I see you've made a half-dozen trollings today about me. Don't overdo it if you want to get paid! We want it to "look good".
