What do you want the cue to look like when it's finished? Nice wood where the wrap was?Hello. Just as the title states, I'm looking to strip my cue of it's ugly linen wrap to being wrapless.
Does anyone know how much time is involved and how much one can expect to pay?
Thank you!

Makes no point in posting the same subject twice in one day.Is it possible to convert a linen-wrapped cue to wrapless?
Just as the title states, I'm wondering if an originally linen-wrapped cue can be converted into a wrapless cue? If so, would you know how much that would cost and the time it takes? Thanks!forums.azbilliards.com

Michael, just being curious. Is there such thing as a real ebony veneer if someone wanted real ebony instead of a stained wood?Handles look like Ebony but they're not.
I actually did just that, I took the wrap off an old Vector cue sanded and stained it to look not bad.
I put some black rings on both ends of the wrap channel to make it look better. Is it a Herman Rambow, of course not but is it perfectly functional abosulely. I really like the feel of that narrow wrap channel as well!If you only took off the wrap, sanded, and stained it, how did you deal with the wrap channel?
Yes SirMichael, just being curious. Is there such thing as a real ebony veneer if someone wanted real ebony instead of a stained wood?
