How do these diamond tables play so badly? vid

You posted that screenshot of someone's opinion before, so???
Its funny that you are so concerned that Diamond copied Brunswick because they used the same brand of K55 cushion yet Brunswick didnt seem to mind otherwise they would not have sold cushions to Diamond. Are you also insinuating that any auto manufacturer that uses Goodyear tires is copying GM because GM uses Goodyears?? If Diamond were really copying Brunswick why didnt Diamonds come with 5"-5 1/.4" corner pockets??

If I buy Olhausen cushions and copy their rail profile, I'd be trying to replicate their playability.
You're just extending your argument.
Next you're gonna argue about their legs.
Someone? I guess you don't know who that someone is.

It's ok to say that Brunswick was "diamondized" but not the other way around.
Pfft!

Diamondized refers to the pocket dimensions being the same as Diamonds, unless of course, you think Diamond copied Brunswicks pocket dimensions too, I know what Diamondized means too, since I'm the one that coined the phrase!!!!

Yeah right
Don't forget your brilliant idea of blue labeling GC's.
Years of convincing by Mark later, you flipflop and now claim " Mark and I " are in agreement Superspeed is better for GC's

When you were touting all this 15 years ago on these very forums, you were putting Artemis Intercontinental cushions on the GC's as well. It was the whole package. Extended rails, extended cushions, Artemis cushions. The only thing I suppose you couldn't change was the slate pocket cutout.

Yup.
Now, he flipflops.

That's right, and over time Mark and I both agreed that the Artemis cushions, for the price, and the build of the GC rails, would be better off installing Superspeed cushions instead. The GC rails are not built as solid as the Diamond rails are, and they still use only 3 rail bolts per rail, so they're not as stiff when bolted down. But, you're a lot like Joey, you're just plain and simple refuse to understand anything, because you're just stuck on st#$&d!!!

You have made a bunch of noise for 15 years but have never fixed anything. Diamond Blue tables still are boingy pinball machines, and still bank short. It affects every single shot when playing position. We are not talking about only playing a bank shot.

Now are you implying the difference is the rail stiffness? It may be (although I personally doubt it). If it's as simple as that though, why didn't Diamond just switch to poplar instead of Oak rails. They would have saved money and had a better playing table. A win-win for everyone. I'm betting it's something beyond the rail stiffness though. 3 rail bolts vs 4 I don't buy. You can bank on a GC right in front of the rail bolt, then bank exactly in the middle of two rail bolts, and it will be the same.

Well, maybe the problem with Diamonds is just your amateur playing skills, maybe you just need to learn how to play better, instead of expecting the Diamonds to HELP your lack of skills, your Fargo Rate says it all, what are you, an APA 3 now😅🤣😂😅🤣😂😅🤣😂😅🤣😂

Talk up Golf, because it's clear you CAN'T play pool worth a shit! You and Joey should be golfing buddies!!

Here's a suggestion for you. STOP playing on Diamonds, you DON'T have the skills to play on them!!

Maybe they need Valley rails . 😂

That's the funny part. Pretty much every other brand in the past 50 years plays good, including Valleys, including junk home tables (unless their cushions have rotted out). When the CB hits the rail, you expect a certain amount of speed to be taken off the ball. On the Diamond rails it's the opposite, that the rails don't kill the speed at all. (I know this is impossible from a physics standpoint, just how it seems to the naked eye in comparison to other tables).

My apartment leasing office has some total POS junk (bought new 5 years ago) 7' table. The CB drifts a foot. The pockets have half fallen out. But the rails play proper. Go figure.

Just tell me you dont really don't understand the whole rail thickness/cushion profile/specific sub-rail angle thing without telling me, you doing a great job of it so far. The cushion only has 1 correct mounting angle and height to play properly, its not about "copying" someone its about mounting the cushion properly for playability. I never called my Brunswick "Diamondized", I always said the pockets were tightened and sub-rails were re-cut for current profiles. Superspeeds are not magical, its just a simple K55 profile that Brunswick either makes themselves or has an outside contractor make for them.

And Diamond does not own Artemis.
If you blue label your GC with Artemis, you're trying to copy diamond's playability.
Stop already.
