No bet.I don't think anyone will care if there was 100MM behind it. The game is boring as hell.
It's like the IPT with 8 ball. Ignoring all the KT drama, the game itself of 8-ball was boring to watch. Heyball is more boring than American 8-ball due to the snooker pocket cuts, and is very obscure outside of China.
The players will take the money and run. The fans won't show up. It will fold.
IMO.
Please go away.I want to try out for Matchroom's Heyball Team.
There is no way I can make Matchrooms nineball tour. Heyball fits my schedule better.
One China. Everyone in America will be happy to support Chinese culture.
Please go away.
Flushing New York is reinventing what Chinese culture is. Please visit and check out the many pool rooms in Flushing owned and operated by Chinese business people.
I am surprised. After the last letter from wpa banging out chinese eighth ball competitions, now they make part of it!
It is a game for strong players, but wpa will want to obligate players to choose between them and MR. We will see asians play it and the rest of the world playing MR events.
The best would be also matchroom going to the same path, along with wpa and the chinese. All the players would be in.
WTF?????????????? Are you high or just naturally delusional???????? Wait, don't answer that. Just go away. You do know that you're THE laughingstock on AZ, right??Flushing New York is reinventing what Chinese culture is. My opinion differs. Crooks and failed business model aside, I think the IPT 8-ball tournaments were the most fun tournaments to watch. It's like the IPT with 8 ball. Ignoring all the KT drama, the game itself of 8-ball was boring to watch.

I personally feel those Chinese 8-ball tables are an absolute abomination. If someone wants to play pocket billiards on a table with snooker-shaped pockets pockets, just play snooker. Leave the pockets of a pool table alone, such that it's still possible to fire in an OB down the rail.Heyball is more boring than American 8-ball due to the snooker pocket cuts, and is very obscure outside of China.
That will never happen, adding more balls. Never. ONLY way to slightly toughen it for pros is to play take-what-you-make. BCA rules are too easy for pros.I personally feel those Chinese 8-ball tables are an absolute abomination. The IPT had it somewhat correct by incorporating the slow cloth, because we all know 8-ball with fast cloth and 4.5" pockets is just too easy for the pros. But I've been advocating this idea for a decade, but if we want to make 8-ball for the pros more interesting, instead of mucking with the table (3.5" pockets, or snooker shaped pockets, or slow nap cloth), simply increase the number of objects above 15 (to 21, for example). Adding a few more balls is a whole lot easier than modifying (or in heyball's case completely redesigning) existing pool tables.
Its a good beer-league game and that's about it. Lot of league play where i go and they all seem to love it. 99.9% of them wouldn't get out of the electric chair to play 9b on a big table. The only reason 8 ball is popular with the bangers is because they don’t even know other games exist.
At times like these, I miss Cocobolo Cowboy. You're a charlatan, a mere interloper in Coco's rodeo.America poolrooms play such bad music.
I hope Heyball comes to Flushing and plays good Chinese music with good Chinese service, where players act in accordance with Chinese norms.
Not the Chinese that cough and spit in public. The professional ones.
