How do you picture the forum members looking like, if you have not met them?

Wonder no more about me. These are from last month at a big tournament in Florida:

That was a great tournament. Dom and his guys did a great job.

I was on the rail most of the time. I probably saw you play at some point.

I didn't have anywhere near the balls for that one…! 😂

Me, also in a tournament last month. One that cost me about $900 less than yours to get into though! 😁

And using a Keilwood shaft I see. 👍

Never tried one. Seems intriguing. 😎

I hadn't either.

I had tried low deflection shafts and they simply didn't work for me. I've been hitting standard deflection shafts for just too damn long and really struggled to adjust. And I especially hate the look/feel of carbon fiber, so…

I decided to try the Kielwood just for the hell of it. Maybe just a little less deflection than my normal maple shaft, maybe not. But I like the look and the feel and seem to play pretty well with it.

One of these days I need to take it over to Chris Nitti and have him match the rings on my cue...

Not really what you're asking, but there is a regular poster that sounds very wise and experienced. I reckoned he was really good. Then I came across a video of him playing and was surprised by the very mediocre play. Not going to name and shame.
There is no reason to do so unless of course they are a steadfast of the aiming forum.

In this case it's not only ok to name them but practically obligatory.😂

This is disappointing. I always thought you and Cookieman Dave Stem were the same person with different ID's:ROFLMAO:

I got a free ride to that one. I won a "qualifier" that paid my $1300 entry ($1K + 2 side pots) and $700 cash for travel. ;)
Won my first match, and the the kid who got second (Carlos Jinez) got me second round. Won my third and they stuck me on the tv table for my 4th and I dogged it. It was a great experience though, and I had a great time. That venue was amazing.

Very cool.

My home room, I live about a mile from there. You're right, a great place. Good food, good equipment, and good people. You really can't ask for anything more than that.

You could easily pass for William Shatner's younger brother.
