How do you picture the forum members looking like, if you have not met them?

Doesn't play that good but will gamble would be the byline. 🤷‍♂️

There was a post Texas Carom Club did of holding his cue, it was not at all how I pictured him looking like, with a big-ass arm with a large tattoo LOL. Maybe because I see Carom players as skinnier guys in suits. Anyone have a built-in picture of what some of the regulars should look like based on their postings and screen name?
I can picture most any person blindfolded if I'm able to talk to them. What's upstairs is more important than the body.

Not really what you're asking, but there is a regular poster that sounds very wise and experienced. I reckoned he was really good. Then I came across a video of him playing and was surprised by the very mediocre play. Not going to name and shame.
I think some people if you put a camera on them get excited and can’t perform…they’d have to be in that situation more often.
I believe he ran 100 plus at straight pool….he‘s a navy guy, IT expert….and could build his own house to code.
I admire him.

Who is #2!!?

I imagine several sex idols/erotic players.

A few of you sound like you need regular STD testing.

More than a few would be lab coats or military engineers. No one was using the internet in 90s. 00s was still slow.

How many of you invented parts of the internet hardware or software? I grew up near Westinghouse and NYNEX labs.
Did you eat paint chips as a kid? Get dropped on your head? Were you an unfinished science experiment?

Peer review the following:

I am ready to test the Billiard Aptitude system deployed in the field.

I will broadcast SSID: 192.168.2.1
Intranet will process requests

Here is the flow:
SSID means Database + Music + Entertainment + Input
Local Intranet = Stronger Against Hacking

Organization: All users on the intranet will choose if they are player, mechanic, promotions, tech, or other.
Table Management: Players use their phone to learn opponent, table and match details.
Scoring: Users can monitor and add scores from their phone. If they have a bluetooth speaker they can contact HQ for audio communications.

Music Sponsors can purchase the ability to stream from your platform.
Entertainment Vendors can be given quotes to advertise.

Fans can use it to learn what is nineball, take quizzes and try exercises and then demo equipment.
Static content is best for most fans.

Users can register on the intranet and demo beta versions of software or play games. Games for the app might include something that comes with a controller grip to add on to phones.

Based on low end equipment specs consumer ARM processer and WIFI 6, I estimate maybe 4 connections with no noise or dropped signals.

A pool tournament its unclear which upgrades would be needed.

Would anyone kick me out if you see player using electricity and leaving their jacket by the plug? Then its lots of cellphone tapping.

This has to be the least coherent post I've ever seen

I never knew that there were levels of incoherent, in that case Justdum's posts are the highest........or would that be the lowest.......most, that's it, they are the most incoherent, all of them. Every. Single. One.

Fargorate holds too much back.

As a competing technologist I propose creating a standard reporting format. Players can track standard stats. Then players collect and distribute the stats as to experiment, give them free space on the cloud.

Fargorate is centralized and if they are hacked or locked out of their systems, everyone loses time.

Professor Justin's closed network reporting system part of the Billiard Aptitude Device allows for private and public reporting.

Users are allowed to export and import data for their analysis purposes. The BAD system is meant to work as a token system.

BAD will help users tear down and build up new pool sites faster and integrate with a global scoring system.

The latest in BIRPA tech: Portable private networks, hard wired and wireless. Wireless is for fast deployment it is weaker against DoS attacks. Wired is better for secure transmission however it costs more hardware and positions are fixed.

The BAD system does what Fargorate does plus it provides modular features for leagues, organizations, sponsors, trainers and players. A decent developer should build out the functions as needed in the custom dev environment.

Its called Prof Justins Pool Project: BAD Billiard Aptitude Device: A modular approach to technology development. Bridging new and old technologies.

When BAD users achieve critical capacity I promise to keep Fargorate active. I don't think I will reverse add features to Fargo, it will be stripped for dbase data.

Are you interested in the BAD system by the BIRPA from Brooklyn's finest engineering school with nice views of the Brooklyn Shipping yards and several federal courts. BIRPA formerly sponsored childhood and adult education programs.

Find out how to partner with BIRPA. The future needs you for research project associations.

I think i know who you mean.
He was from N.Y. and we met up here in Denver two times while he was out here visiting relative's.
He warned me prior to our first meet that he was a straight pool player with a high run of 130.
He couldn't run 5 balls on an open table both times we played.
Then a video surfaced of him playing and he was exposed as a wanna be,soon after he disappeared from the forum.

That's me and Cuebuddy on the left from Vail.
Cuebuddy can play pretty good for an old guy.
Its been too long old buddy. I miss our epic battles and your great stories. I play a lot of One Pocket now so it would be nice to match up soon!
