At times the more interesting match has been on YouTube and one of the two tables has commentary.I'm watching the main table on DAZN, but only a little. That will change when the event gets to Stage 2. I haven't watched Youtube matches at all.
Some of the restream sites are problematic. I can view without those problems at a small additional cost. There are a multitude of restream websites that don’t require a vpn. I usually watch a restream of the skysports broadcast if I’m at home and able to use my computer. It’s funny to watch British commercials.
Thanks, Bob.At times the more interesting match has been on YouTube and one of the two tables has commentary.
I'm the opposite. Find myself watching more and more of it. There is a lot of areas for improvement, or things that make me go hmmmThis sounds bad, I love pool. I feel it's getting to the point that I really don't care who wins at pro events. It's usually some dude I've never heard of (not the biggest deal, but kind of neat in an underdog way), but mainly I am just starting to find it boring to watch pool.
I can only watch so much of the "big 3" games and not get bored. I know the strategy, hardly learn anything from watching anyway. The commentators say the obvious shot and it's hard to learn any new insight. I'd rather just watch the highlights because it's not exactly "edge of your seat" entertainment on every shot. Kick the can, kick the can, kick the can a bit better then get out.
The "day 1 highlights" type videos will get my attention, watching hours of the same game I've played and seen played thousands of hours just isn't as entertaining as playing it. I want to see the good stuff, not same old same old for 20 shots then see one interesting one.
Chris Melling's 8 ball runout is one of the few "exciting" things I've actually seen in pool in the last several years. Watching top tier pros of whom I have no connection to play pretty much the same style of pool... not so much.
I think I'll just practice and put some music on in the background instead, that seems more enjoyable anyway.
After repeated attempts to cancel, there was no option to cancel provided. No phone number, no email, just a chat box. They offered a chat box as THE ONLY WAY to cancel if one wants to cancel, but nobody ever came in the chat box to take a cancellation.
I am glad you have had a good experience. I certainly am not making it up, and if you read AzBilliards and Facebook posts by Americans who attempted to cancel their subscription to DAZN, you will find many more people just like me who could not cancel on the DAZN website via their PC computers. Again, glad you enjoy your DAZN experience, I will never venture on that website again. They do not give you any email or phone number to cancel, yet they say you must cancel within 30 days. AND the only way to cancel on the DAZN website via PC computer is their chat box. They even state that on the DAZN website. But when yo ugo to the DAZN chat box on their website, nobody comes forth, no human, nothing. That's odd. I routinely sign up for DAZN and cancel immediately, and it's super-easy online. I cancel every time without chatting with anyone.
Cornerman, Matchroom can only be accessed to see the Main Table of the WNT World Pool Championship by other countries, not Americans. Americans must subscribe to DAZN to see the Main Table of the WNT World Pool Championship, unless, of course, they are using a VPN.Matchroom Live. Is it a choice on the poll?
I wonder how many pool fans sign up and cancel and how much revenue that is to DAZN. It doesn't seem like it would be enough for them to insist on keeping it in the US. Pool doesn't even seem like an afterthought to them - no mention of it in their corporate report. Hard to find on the website when I briefly subscribed.Matchroom is getting such a pile of money for the boxing/MMA package from DAZN (which, to my understanding, is an additional PPV charge on top of the monthly subscription for a lot of these fights) that they either don't care or consider it a reasonable trade off. I'd imagine the money they received from DAZN is helping to fund a few of these new events. I agree with everyone 100-percent though. I loathe this app and the fact that it is by far the most expensive streaming app I have.
How much is matchroom live?Canadian. I don't miss DAZN. Matchroom Live is good value and I like the snooker as well. I would support DAZN if it actually worked well or archived the matches. Horrible product with predatory billing. They make it tough cancel for a reason.
