2024 World Pool Championship

Kaci is going to win. His break is too strong. Fedor, America's last hope.

another mistake from raga, at 8-7. titty hooked himself

...but he made up for it after a safety exchange and is running out. 9-7

Some good play, some sloppy play, that's pool.
I watch on a large screen, rarely look at the chat, always on mute.
I looked at the chat a few times and it's disgusting. The disrespect for players and people in general is outrageous, these can't be adults. Those chatters don't have the game or the balls to step into the arena.
There are also good people chatting.
It's amazing, this huge production and connected to it is a chat room full of shitheads knocking the game and players. Get rid of the chat or somehow police it. Remove the garbage and move on.

Sadly, that's about normal for any internet chat. The first thing I do when watching is get rid of the chat. I would rather just watch the play.

highly entertaining, raga, with his nervous mannerisms and talking to himself

on the hill now

Chill bro I'm joking, don't take a pool forum so seriously.

If you have someone on ignore, you still get notifications if they reply to your message? Not sure how that works, I'm not sensitive.
I'm so far from serious that most people mistakenly think I'm serious...lol

I was honestly surprised at the Mikey collapse though. Surprised nobody was giving it a second thought.

...and I did have some on ignore at one point. To the best of my knowledge I don't think you'll see any activity from them. At least I didn't at that time.

Next round, they'll be playing for $23,000, the difference between $27,000 and $50,000.

It is Matchroom's responsibility to set up rules that they believe will be best to grow the sport both for the players and viewers.
This is the crux of the matter. Should Matchroom give the players what they want? No, they shouldn't. Should Matchroom give the fans what they want? No, they shouldn't.

What Matchroom must do is keep abreast of what the players and fans want, which is always two different things. That enables them to make an informed decision about what rules, equipment and format will suit the growth of the game.

The mighty continue to fall. SVB and Filler are out. Two world 10-ball champions have reached the quarterfinals in Kaci and Szewczyk, but unless Gorst can outlast Melling, we will have a last eight without a former World 9-ball champion.

Chaos for sure, but very entertaining chaos!

I thought I saw Ignacio use either a short cue or his jump cue on a shot where the cueball was resting on the rail

going to try this

are we now in four cues in the bag territory?
