It doesn't matter if it's a physical sport or a game of hand-eye coordination; it comes down to people and their agendas.Just like everything else in life, the Olympics has been bastardized and commercialized by those in control. After seeing (or rather, not seeing) the opening ceremony, we now know a lot more about those behind the scenes. I remember when Chicago was in the running for the Olympics a few years back, and tons of money was spent courting the committee. It's a huge revenue generator for any city that hosts it. They want viewers, and sorry, pool isn't it.Pretty much this^^^^.
I'm not to keen on the Olympics, other than winter olympic hockey.
Oh, summer games = women's volleyball. I'll watch that.
Isn't archery an event? I suspect one could be fairly overweight and still shoot rather well.
