Mosconi Cup 2025, Dec. 3-6, Alexandra Palace, London

Is there even a market for that?

I mean seriously, who the faguzin' is he going to get by including all of NA, lol! That would be, excluding the US, players from:

Antigua and Barbuda
The Bahamas
Barbados
Belize
Canada
Costa Rica
Cuba
Dominica
Dominican Republic
El Salvador
Grenada
Guatemala
Haiti
Honduras
Jamaica
Mexico
Nicaragua
Panama
Saint Kitts and Nevis
Saint Lucia
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
Trinidad and Tobago

Lou Figueroa
bettin' on the
Jamaican bobsled team
to rebrand and take up pool
Alex?

He also said maybe expanding to North America and including Canada
There's no help there either at this point. Alex is not really a hyper focused short race player at this point. Him and Morra are only slight upgrades. I don't see a way out of this hole. If they can't fly the Stars and Stripes I don't see what the point is.

I honestly think a better answer is rolling out the red, white, and blue carpet for....

.....Jason Shaw!!!

Imagine if the US' most talented players like Sky, Bergman, Dechaine, Thorpe, and Chohan went on a Euro diet and adhered to a Euro practice regime and in general lived a reasonable Euro player lifestyle focused on health and pool. Then again this is such a preposterous idea that you have to laugh at the prospect.
It's a great idea, just not for aging pros. These guys are the players they are at this point. It's the next generation that needs a different focus.

Between racks Woodward said something to Shane, then Shane said;
"We have mics on"
Then Woodward replied,
"Fuck 'em"

ummm, I think Emily wouldn't be pleased about this, I wonder what she will do about this once she see's it, probably not alot just maybe have a chat with woodward, but yea Emily is a real boss, we know what real bosses do.
I think Emily would look good in black leather and carrying a riding crop...

day two notes:

oh tyler
shane was excellent when he wasnt losing every lag
shane actually smiled
filler destroyed fred
fred seems lost
I was kinda jealous of the "oohhh joshua filler" chants, USA crowd figure something out

I cannot recall where I heard it but it was said that Filler plays on his home table, with 4.25 pockets, every day until he runs 200.

Do we have anyone with that work ethic?

Lou Figueroa
Hi Lou!😃
They practice- but not to the same standards
American professionals do not include 14.1 in their arsenals. To their detriment.

To fix this mess why not get rid of continental teams and adopt a drafted team model. Take like the top 10 players in the world and make them team captains then have an nfl style draft to build out the teams. Nationality doesn’t play a role in it. Then have a team season. Would be more interesting than the current events.

I'm not a world beater, but I play high ball a touch of inside on that 8...
As far as Styer’s shot at the end of match 5, on new cloth, I’m not sure that inside would’ve reversed the path of the CB off that end cushion enough to have left him easy on the 9. He played it the correct way, he apparently was just afraid of scratching in the side which I’m guessing is why he didn’t stroke it and came up so short.

Shane seemed resigned to his fate once again. He knows he will never win the MC with the current supporting cast.

It was an easy shot either way and he dogged it. He had already made the hard shots in the rack. Let's get real and quit making excuses for him.
