I was just thinking about this a little bit more and it is doable. I could write a program that would use a website form for a user to enter in the tip information and then the program woud create a cnc g-code to cut out each tip from a layered leather sheet. They could choose a tip radius as well and even a depth, since some people like layers cut off on install. Then using a tip centering tool, they could just glue it on and go.
However, it would have to be with the disclaimer that the user is responsible for any install related issues, since you would still need to burnish in the tip sides to properly install it.
For it to be feasible, it would probably have to be $35 for a single and $30 each for 2-3 and $27 for 4-10 etc.
