Normally my brother or I ordered the pizza. This evening mom was doing the ordering. "What do y'all usually get she asked after dialing the phone and getting somebody on the line. "The garbage pizza" Mom was in repeat mode and just rattled off what Rusty said. Mom was pissed!!
Another time Rusty was by the phone when it rang. He picked up and starting talking in his best recorded message voice when they all sounded the same. "This is not a recording. Do not hang up the phone ... He went on for awhile they hung up. When the phone rang again mom snatched it first. Her friend said, "I just tried to call you and I got the strangest recording ... Not to be a downer on this thread but these good memories reminded me Rusty has been dead fifty years. Time flies.

My brother was bragging about his children, "They are both on the Principal's list this semester!" I didn't bat an eye, "you and I were on the principal's list for years."
