PBS St Louis 2026 (Men’s World 8 Ball Championship, Mixed Doubles, Women’s Open, Bank Pool), 1-8 April, Half Million Prize Fund

In my opinion, his two-rail blind kick with left masse to shorten it is one of the greatest kick shots in the history of the game. I can easily imagine shooting that shot for an hour without making the eight ball even once.
So can he.

Scott Frost said Bergman wants to make Mosconi and is planning on playing a WNT event overseas.

London is the closest overseas event, as you can catch a direct flight from St Louis to London.
Bet....this ain't ever gonna happen.

This is taking it a bit too far - Bergman's 10 ball break seems below average for the top men and he missed a couple of shots I think he'd like to have back, but when it really mattered his cue ball was tremendous. "No business on the Mosconi Cup team" is just a horrible take.
Yeah, no, not really taking it too far. In his 4 years of being on the Mosconi Cup teams, he won 1 of 7 of his singles matches. Nothing in his performance history merits the unbridled enthusiasm of the fans that always rally around and claim he is going to save the Mosconi Cup for America as our unsung hero. That is delusional. Tyler Styer's performance is better, that tells me all I need to know.

All I saw was missed easy shots at critical moments and a bunch of sulking around slamming his stick on the table during that team final. Fu couldn't carry him any further, no one could.

it is bizarre how they ignore his repeated mediocre performances at the Mosconi Cup. It’s not like he is some unknown quantity that hasn’t been given a chance.

The last time Bergman played in the Mosconi was 2019.

The last time USA won was 2019.

Bergman's safety game is on par with the Europeans. And Justin is one of the best players in the world after the break.

Jayson Shaw playing with a broken pinky😳
Now we know why Jayson missed the European Open.

His masse kick was to pocket the eight ball, as sjm said, one of the best kicks I've ever seen. Of course, Shaw acted like he had it all along. Too bad he couldn't finish the match off. Tough miss on an 8 ball at hill-hill that had the slimmest of margin to be pocketed. Ouschan didn't play all that well.

Fu and Bergman had their chances, but they missed a few critical shots and CB placements. Crowd wanted the match to go the distance.

The 8-ball tournament has been livened up by the rack for breaking - mostly kept players from running away with matches. It's also interesting to see how players break out clusters. But I have enjoyed the doubles and women's matches, both doubles, a lot more.

Credit to Predator for improving their events. Competition with MR is reaching a boil. I just hope neither gets scalded and they find a way to co-exist. They both do things the game needs.

The women's final four is interesting. Jasmine is no surprise, but Brittany Bryant, Xiaofang Fu and Kristina Zlateva?

Jasmine is no surprise, but Brittany Bryant, Xiaofang Fu and Kristina Zlateva?

Bryant is No. 50 in women’s Fargo at 679, far below No 10. Ouschan’s 757. She’e never come close to winning a big title.

The 39-year-old Fu has the pedigree and sparkling 755 Fargo, putting her at No. 11 behind Jasmine. Older and wiser now, and like most of us, with a few extra pounds.

She has only played sporadically since having twins nearly a decade ago. Her last big win was in 2018, though she did reach the semis of the 2025 Kamui WPA Women's 9-Ball World Championship in December, where she lost to … Jasmine.

Seems Fu began to dip her toes back into international play more regularly only last year. In an interview years ago when her children were very young, she said she could not bear to be away from them.

Zlateva, for her part, is a very good player. She has gone deep in some recent tournaments, but has always seemed to run out of gas vs the very best players. I’ve generally not seen her as a legitimate threat.

Bryant plays Ouschan, who Brittany beat earlier in the week to give Jasmine her only loss.

Fu beat Zlateva earlier in the tourney, too, to account for Kristina’s only loss.

Would be poetry if Fu gets to the finals and beats Jasmine to revenge her semis defeat in the Kamui event.

And yet they keep insisting Shane play, he has a losing record period. Its amazing to me how bad people are at simple math
