I had no idea that Tweeten made a twenty-dollar tip.
I had no idea that Tweeten made a twenty-dollar tip.
And I didn't know that Elkmaster made a "Pro" tip. I thought they just made the blue one that everybody knows about.
Efren told me - and Steve Tipton - in Las Vegas back in 2002 that he played with a pressed Elkmaster. I've been using them ever since.

Why dont you reach out to someone who would know...like the party that sold/ installed it?I asked for the Elkmaster tip to be installed when I bought the cue. I was expecting it to be blue. I'm not sure what tip is on it now. That's why I took a pic and posted it, asking for everybody's thoughts.

I don't know the answer to your question but... HAVE YOU TRIED BREAKING WITH IT?!Okay, I just purchased a new Cuetec Cynergy Nine Ball cue and I have a couple of questions.
First, is the tip shown an Elkmaster tip?
Second, are the joints the same? The middle pic is the new Cynergy joint and the pic on the far right is from my old Cuetec Starlight Earl Strickland cue that's over 25 years old.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

They don't.I had no idea that Tweeten made a twenty-dollar tip.
So lemme get this straight. That's not what I asked.
I asked if that tip is an Elkmaster.
I'm not sure how I can make the question any more simple than that. Let me try:
IS THE TIP IN THE PIC AN ELKMASTER TIP?????
dquarasr, you're missing the point. It's not Dr. Cue's Protege, it's everyone else in the forum who is stupid and doesn't know how to answer questions. So lemme get this straight.
You asked whether the tip is an Elkmaster, NEVER HAVING REVEALED THAT YOU ORDERED AS AN OPTION AN ELKMASTER TIP.
Then, when people try to help and respond that Cuetec standard tip is Sniper, you reposted your question, this time with an attitude using ALL CAPS.
Given your your unwillingness to learn how to record and share f-ing videos on your other threads re: your breaking woes, and the acerbic responses in this thread, why would anyone here want to try to help? Sheesh.
Doesn't appear to be an Elkmaster. You can usually see some of the blue in those, no matter how well they're burnished.Okay, I just purchased a new Cuetec Cynergy Nine Ball cue and I have a couple of questions.

NopeThey are not interchangeable.
Second, that's not what I asked. I asked if that tip is indeed an Elkmaster.
News to me as well.I had no idea that Tweeten made a twenty-dollar tip.
Sniper looks grey too. That's what C'tec uses. AFAIK elkpros only go up to 10.5mm. tip in that pic looks like a Outsville dud to me.
