Thank you so much for sharing images of your collection, sir. We all started off with the traditional sets… before you know it you’ll be scouring obscure corners of the internet eight hours every day like the rest of us. It only takes one lucky find and you’re hooked.

Casino: you can’t really go wrong with modern Aramiths, but for something a little more interesting and of comparable quality I would suggest 1970s Hyatts or Raschigs.
Poker: The 1970s striped sets from Aramith are right up there, plus either variation of the 1980s Cardball sets, of course. All of them rare, but they do crop up occasionally. Or the modern set from the Billiard Ball Museum, perhaps!
