Of course. World class players make any pool game look easy. I’m just talking about the random people who dismiss 8ball as a joke, and it requires no skill at all.

Well if there playing NOW.... anyone know the score, and any comments on the Brunswick? bar box from the announcers?
If it comes down to a close match, I'd pick Justin, his frame is by no means overweight, and in matches that run this long, I feel this will be his advantage. I've beat many good players after 12 hrs of play because of being in shape.

Rodney is tough action on 7'.
when they had that griffs us open bar table 8-ball rodney played a perfect match alternate break. i think opponent (could been hatch, not sure) would have played perfect too but had a dry break. i think dennis had a perfect set on the tv table as well.

Oh, sans the shot clock, it will be a little more competitive. I'd rather see the time clock used along with winner break, I think that would make it more interesting. But it ought to be pretty close with those rules.

I can't take this seriously, pro players playing on 7ft with big pockets. every time a ball drops on the break they run out.
And some dare to say it's harder than 8ball on 9ft tables, get your stats right, a lot less B&R on 9ft tables with tight pockets.

For pros bartable 8 ball is just too easy of a game.
I'm a donkey....broke and ran a 12 pack in barbox 8 ball. It isn't anywhere as hard as running a 5 pack in 9 ball on a 9 footer.

You should listen to Bergman talk about barbox 8 ball. Contradicts your opinion. And these pockets aren't big.

The Rodney match was free. Not Justin. Sorry about the confusion.
I don’t think accuracy has anything to do with it, on these tables with these pockets. IMO Rodney just plays BB 8b like a 9b player. The UK players just play better patterns than guys like Rodney and Archer. Dennis Hatch (and Shane and Corey) play much better 8b patterns IMO and can hang with the English guys.
I think I’ve told the story here before, but I saw Corey play Carlo Biado bar box 8 ball in the action room at the Derby the year before Carlo won the world nine ball championship. Carlo is amazing, but he just made it too hard for himself by playing the patterns wrong, and Corey destroyed him at a time when Corey had no chance to beat him playing 9 foot rotation games. That’s exactly the same thing I saw today with Rodney.
