What do you guys think? Is this a SAM base with a Predator facelift? What is SAM's reputation in the carom world?

SAM was not heavy enough…..I’m talking 90s. Their pool tables didn’t play well either.
 
Sam is endorsed by Danny Sanchez for many yrs as they're based in Spain
,he sells plenty of them, they have had a great reputation in European Carom rooms

But with predator involved lol who knows the short cuts to raise profits
 
their tables look awesome, carom and pool

I can't see any compelling reason outside of that to pass over the established brands
 
Just saw where Predator bought Portuguese table make BilharesCarrinho so its possible they are making the new carom tables. SAM made the first Pred carom tables.
 
Never played on one of these. But I will say Carom Pool is an elegant game when played at a high level. The defensive shots when controlling all three balls is pretty damn cool!
 
I fed the spec sheet of the 2026 table into chatgpt and asked it some questions to try to find the manufacturer. The screenshot below is the last and most relevant portion. Take with a BIG grain of salt, but ChatGPT is predicting Hollywood is the manufacturer.

Asked Predator and they said the new carom table and their new snooker tables are made by the PredatorGroup and not outsourced to another company. There is a video on YT of a guy at a trade show and you can clearly see 'BilharesCarrinho'(Pred recently bought the co.) on the snooker table. Whether they bring all table construction in-house remains to be seen.
