The Stevie Chan Memorial tournament kicked off today in Aurora, CO at Piazza's. 171 players turned out for a $130 entry fee tournament with EVEN races to 7, bar table 9B!! So awesome to see an Open tournament get this kind of participation. Some of the favorites are SVB, Joe Prince (defending champion), Shane Thompson, Tom D'Alfonso, TJ Steinhaus, Manny Perez, and Sharik Sayed. I don't know the actual number off the top of my head, but I believe there was over 40K in the Calcutta. Nice payday for someone this weekend!

I believe they are streaming it live all weekend on Piazza's YouTube channel for free.
