If the collar on the cue now is conical then it needs to be conical.If not then you can cut it cylindrical.I wouldn't use delrin.You may have problems with it not glueing well. Best Wishes, Steve

Sanding with air will help keep the heat down.

That's an easy fix,I do it for players all the time.Mostly on the low deflection shafts.

Maple over purpleheart. Purpleheart is too stiff for a break cue.I agree with Royce and you can't accomplish that on a regular basis with a stiff shaft. Best Wishes, Steve

I know that every OB shaft comes with a label to register your purchase for warranty coverage.Are you the original owner of the shaft and did you register your warranty? If so then you will have no problem getting it taken care of. All of this info is on the OB website.Hope this helps. Steve

Very nice cues Daniel.

Sand the wrap with 320 or 400 grit to remove any oil that may have transferred from your hands.Tape off the ends and apply a leather dye with a foam brush.Let the cork dry,sand with 600 grit to make it smooth again.Apply a wax or sealer and burnish and it's finished.This is the way do it.Hope...
