Tim Scruggs Cue with Searing Shaft...

Awesome scruggs... Probably because there are plenty of gamblers on here...And to them(us) it is a 39/40 chance of losing 40 bucks.....20 bucks and 80 spots or 16 bucks and 100 spots would sell easier...

what is the best break for barbox 9Ball?

from the rail I agree with his suggestion from the pocket line, but I have been using this break lately, and end up better. (though it used to be against my religion) Place the cueball at the intersection of the 1st diamond of the foot and side rails(maybe a TAD in front of the 1st...

    I lied about my pockets...

mmmkay... because off the bottom rail.. natural roll to the rail is top...hitting a ball adds sidespin...the trip back uptable the top into the rail is now draw, with quite a bit of sidespin from the collision induced english......

    Crazy spots

This has to win OK, in nineball I have done this 3 times and won every time. I get the break, and a pool league 6 gets ALL THE BALLS. I only do this on the 8ft tables, if he makes any ball he wins. Won 40 one nite, 20 the next week, and 120 two weeks ago. I have another "hustlee" that...

    Movie: Pool Hall Master

I hope... I hope every shot isn't a trick shot that never comes up in game play...And I hope every match-up isn't for like 30,000 dollars a race to 3 .....And I hope it bumps the pool business fr the winter!!

diagrams pertaining to pivot-based aiming systems

How do you suggest compensating for speed? Pivoting further and using more english, or simply playing the bll fuller(outside) or thinner(inside). Just curious, I do not personally have many deflection, curveback troubles, because I learned with a traditional shaft....But I do have several guys...

    Rules question??

I believe... To my most recent understanding, reference marks are a foul. That includes chalk marks, finger rub marks, etc. However, I do recall at one time seeing a rather high speed matchup where a contender was unsure whether a ball would pass another along the rail. He was allowed under...

    First Post - Advice Needed

Two ideas... Shoot your balls in numeric order and bank the 8. Then if she beats you too consistently play your balls 8 no count - if you dont run out they spot up . EACH of these spots will give you practice in doing the right thing to win. And give you both practice simultaneously.

    Whiteball - damage?

agree Totally agree. an off-center hit on whitey will cause issues. I actually use siome spin to gain position followinfg the break, and when I am inaccurate in my hit it causes the same problem. I have changed to a wider radius shaped tip for breaking which seems to help. The standard...

Jumping and follow through? Need opinions from instructors.

this is how I teach it... The jump requires a small follow-through and the best way to complete the stroke is by using the arc movement of your wrist. Always practice the jump on a napkin or scrap of cloth. Warmup strokes should include minimal wrist movement, and the final stroke should...

Can someone help my dirty balls?

well.... If they are impregnated with chalk, they have been Sanded by the chalk as well, and I would guess a little ajax wouldnt damage the ball anymore than the chalk has....If they are shiny and blue I might try car polish and see how it works....

    How do you play this?

try this... I think upon further review you will see this is a higher percentage move and gives a higher percentage to win the game..... Use the side rail as a third rail and hit that ball. EITHER SIDE OF THE BALL THAT YOU HIT will result in a safety, and EITHER SIDE OF THE BALL THAT you...
