I could but I don't want to step on any toes. Its a few hundred dollar cue, not a collectible. It feels solid and plays good. Will be a good project for me later on. It just kinda sux cause it's so new.

I like the feel of cork also. I never have used a kangaroo wrap, so I can't comment on that.

I have a practically new cue that has an issue. The entire cue is ebony, but I can tell that the handle is a different piece than the forearm. The finish has either cracked or lifted at the point where the forearm attaches. Its like a perfect circle which indicates the handle is either loose or...

I just got a emco metal lathe/mill. I was looking for some way to get my feet wet also, but I think I will wait for a bigger machine. It was my fathers, so I'm not out any $$

I usually start the match with a controlled break, but if I get my nose open and start going off, it turns into an all out slamfest. Then I start scratching and it all gets worse. Stay with the control.

I like the look of a bumperless cue as well, but I hate seeing them for sale. Nothing worse than a $2500 masterpiece with chips in the butt
