He means his finger slides. Not sure their exact name but are just referred to as fingers. Some wear them to reduce friction or whatever and it was/is one of Earl's gadgets.

I personally believe, even if your opponent displays bad sportsmanship you should not stoop to their level or below. Regardless of the call, thats pretty poor.

I'm with Nathan, personally, they are not as "pretty" as other, cheaper tables. For instance, if my friends seen my Brunswick table next to a Diamond, they would think mine is a way better table... just bc it looks pretty. But I would take the Diamond any day!

One question I have... why do you think you will automatically play better with a heavier cue? Maybe balance, I don't know. But I would prejudge that if you have stroke problems with an 18 oz cue a 21 oz cue will not change that. Hence, lessons may be more valuable. All the advise in the world...

I tend to lean with mantis on this one. I own several custom cues, all which I will play with. But if I had something owned by world champion during their reign, or insert any kind of story like yours, I would probably lock it up and keep it as a collectable keepsake... or sell it LOL...
